Adult Education Talk: Emotional Regulation with Frances Coppa
HT and HT PTA are excited to announce a special presentation on Emotional Regulation with Frances Coppa, an ADHD/Executive Functioning Educator and Coach. Frances works with students, teachers, and families to develop positive strength based supports for common parenting issues.
Frances will address questions like:
- What can I do to make mornings less chaotic?
- What do I do when my child has an emotional meltdown?
- Why does my child have big reactions to small problems and what can I do to support them?
- How can I help my child manage their emotions?
This presentation takes place during Movie Night. HT students ages 5-12 are invited to attend the movie Trolls in the gym while their guardians attend the presentation in the library. Students younger than 5 will need an adult present for supervision. Guardians are expected to supervise their children at the movie or attend the presentation in the library.
