UPDATE: Sessions originally scheduled for late March have been moved to April. Shoreline School District has been holding community information sessions to bring awareness to the current budget challenges. Superintendent Susana Reyes will share information about the financial situation of the district, the contributing factors, and our need to rebalance revenue and expenditures for the 2023-24 school year and beyond. We encourage all HT families to attend a session.

Although this meeting is open to all, the voices and conversations will be centered for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Superintendent Reyes will be joined by Dr. Tanisha Brandon-Felder, Director of Equitable Leadership, Pedagogy and Family Engagement. This is also an opportunity for district leaders to receive input and feedback from BIPOC families to consider as difficult budget decisions are made.
