Chess Mates Foundation offers fun and challenging programs for elementary school students since 1989. Chess helps children develop critical thinking and problem solving, it teaches focus and concentration. It also helps to make friends and gives one a mind-sparking lifetime hobby. Join us to learn one of the oldest and most exciting strategy games!
GRADES: 1-5, No chess experience necessary!
Students : Beginner to advanced.
Students will be paired by age and ability, as appropriate.
WHEN & WHERE: 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm, Mondays; Classroom 20
FALL/WINTER SESSION, 10 classes: October 21, 28, November 18, 25, December 02, 09, 16, January 06, 13, 27
