Who: Highland Terrace PTA is offering an informational night for Detectives Batt and Kieland from King County Sheriff’s Office to do a 30-45 minute presentation followed by a 15-30 minute Q & A session with parents.
What: Parent Education Night will include the following topics:
- Internet Safety Tips & Guidelines—including recommended Apps for parents to monitor child use of internet
- Home & Neighborhood Safety—for kids that may be home alone during the summer
- Stranger Danger advice—suggestions/tips on how to talk to our children about difficult or unsafe situations they may encounter (in person or online)
- Detectives are available to answer any questions related to these topics after the presentation
When: June 6th from 6:30-8:00 pm (no childcare provided)
