The Washington Poison Center (WAPC) is calling for artists in 1st-5th grade to enter its poison prevention poster contest. The WAPC is looking for a poster that will let people know they can be safe from poisonings. Deadline to mail entries is January 3, 2018.
One talented child in grades 1-5 will be chosen as the Mr. Yuk Poster Contest winner. The winning design will be used as our state’s official Poison Prevention Week poster. The winner will also receive a monetary prize and a visit with his/her lawmakers, family, and Mr. Yuk at our state capitol. Learn more here about the poison prevention poster contest.
