The HT PTA Art Walk will be a little bit different this year!
The Spring Art Walk and Auction is a special community event that many families look forward to each year. It celebrates student art in our school and also serves as one of three major fundraisers for our PTA. Due to a lack of volunteers to help lead the event, a decision has been made to scale back the event so that it may still occur. It was decided by the PTA Board to keep the class projects and the art walk portion of the event. Food will also continue to be available thanks to the generosity of HT parent.
This year we won’t have Community Auction. The class projects will shift from group projects to individual student projects that will be coordinated by parent volunteers and teachers. Individual student projects will be available for parents to view and “purchase via a donation” at the event. No family will be denied the art of their student, but donations (in any amount) will be highly encouraged as a way to support the continuation of art programs sponsored by the HT PTA.
