SUMMARY:Teacher Appreciation Week
DESCRIPTION:Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6–10. Below are ideas for celebrating all of our wonderful HT educators throughout the week. Look for an email from your room parent for specific ideas and suggestions for your student’s classroom teacher. \nMonday May 6: Parent Thank You Day\nSend a personal note about something you appreciate about your teachers and what they have accomplished with your student. \nTuesday May 7: Flower Day\nSend your student to school with a flower (real or handmade) to give to teacher(s). They will all be put in a vase and will make a beautiful bouquet to have for the rest of the week. \nWednesday May 8: Gift Card Day\nSend a physical gift card of any size to school with your student or email a virtual gift card. Many room parents are pooling funds to put together a class gift for this day–check the email from your room parent for details. \nThursday May 9: Student Thank You Day\nHave your student write a Thank You note to their teacher(s) and send them to school with your child.  What is their favorite part of class? How does their teacher help them best? \nFriday May 10: Special Treat Day\nBring your teacher’s favorite treats to class.
