DESCRIPTION:This is the most impactful PTA fundraiser of the year! SUMMARY:Scholastic Book Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Scholastic Book Fair kicks off on February 3 during the Pancake Breakfast and runs through February 7. Come shop and support our school library–50% of sales goes to the HT library for new books and materials (note: the book fair is not a PTA fundraiser). \nBook Fair schedule:\nSaturday 2/3 \n\n7:45am – 11am:  Official kickoff during Pancake Breakfast\n\nMonday-Wednesday 2/5-2/7 \n\n11am-12:30pm: Students can shop during lunch recess\n3:35pm-4pm: After school shopping w/ a family member\n\nIf your student plans to shop during lunch recess\, consider setting up an eWallet so they don’t have to carry cash. You can set up an eWallet on the Scholastic website here. \nWe need volunteers!\nSign up to help out at the book fair.

SUMMARY:Move-a-Thon
DESCRIPTION:Each year Highland Terrace holds a Move-a-Thon to raise money for the school’s Associated Student Body (ASB) fund. Highland Terrace uses these funds to directly support students with scholarships\, playground/recess equipment\, special events and projects\, and field trips. Students collect and record donations using the pledge sheet sent home in classroom folders. \nDuring Move-a-Thon students will run/walk/move as a whole school around the outside perimeter of the school building. We need LOTS of volunteers to help have eyes-on\, guide\, encourage\, and cheer on our movers! \nSign up to volunteer at Move-a-Thon here \n  \nNote: Move-a-Thon is not a PTA fundraiser
